FUND RAISING at Dyslexia North East
As a Charity, we need to raise funds for Resources of Books for children and adults to borrow. We need to provide literature (our own) to give information about dyslexia and related conditions, in schools, workplaces and public venues.
We need to fund staff in the future so we can deliver more services to families and individuals who have dyslexia and need support and help.

WEST WALKER PRIMARY SCHOOL NEWCASTLE FOR THE MAGNIFICENT SUM RAISED in March 2013 : £1100 for dyslexic childrens' activities and Workshops.
The Percy Bilton Charity : £500 for Books and Resources.
SHIRVA films for over £350 to help fund the cost of Meetings and Conference venues.

Barter Books in Alnwick
If you have any spare books in good condition and wish to take them along to Barter Books, Dyslexia North East has an account there for members to use. If enough people take along surplus books to exchange, we could build up enough reserves to purchase books for others who need them.
